Shuriken Cues is a crew of motivated keen woodworkers with deep understanding of billiards games.
Making cues is our fulltime job for many years. During this time we experienced working with numerous wood species combined into different fullsplice cue models for individual styles of playing pool, snooker, pyramid and carom billiards.
The main wood we working with is Hornbeam. It perfectly behaves during the manufacture and very reliable and stable in finished product. Natural color of Hornbeam is white, but it reveals an excellent capability of being dyed. The technology we use perfectly dyes the whole wood from inside out and keeps its specifications of hardness. In consequence of it we have rich color palette of colored Hornbeam.
We have a lot of wood with beautiful natural pattern such as Bocote, Zebrawood, Cocobolo, Lacewood, Palisander, Wenge, etc.
Also we are working with royal wood species in cuebuilding such as different origin Ebony, Lapacho, etc.

Full splice considered as one of the strongest styles of wood joints due to the amount of surface area between both glued pieces of wood.
Cut and glued in a square blank condition then rounded in a woodturning lathe to acquire butterfly pattern.
We use the canonical way in our production which result is a one solid piece of wood glued splice-to-splice and rounded to diameters. All handmade.
Such a technology allows to create numerous unique models differ from one another in position of glued splices which results in butterflies and sharps design after turning.

Any model we produce could be customized to your preferences. We always glad to work out a new splices geometry and wood combinations.

On our cues we use only top quality materials which were scrupulously selected based on self experience and players feedbacks.
As a standard we use stainless steel metric joints, Uni-loc joints, 3/8-8 radial pins, 3/8-10 pins.
Triangle tips (hardness to choose), ferrules and fibers. But any custom option is available for an extra cost.
Joint protectors, extensions, extra shafts, cue cases are available.
